Restaurant Lighting

Over a table, the bottom of the pendant should be about 75–90 cm above the table top, so guests can see each other and the light does not shine into their eyes. Over long tables or a bar counter, a row of the same pendant or a linear chandelier gives even light. Use warm white 2700–3000 K light and bulbs with good colour rendering (CRI 90 or above) so food looks natural.

Dimmable chandeliers give the room its general light and wall lights set a rhythm along the walls; dimming the light for evening service creates a calmer mood. Restaurant projects need many pieces of the same model, so we adjust the size, finish and RAL colour to each project in our workshop.

Send us your floor plan or product list and we will prepare a quote for your quantities and sizes. Architects and interior designers can use our OZENPRO programme for project quotes and samples. For measurements, see our dining table and kitchen island lighting guide.
